da doce: According to The Independent, Liverpool could make a move for Jadon Sancho next summer as it has emerged that he will not be making a move to Manchester United.
da mrbet: The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the England international, but they have failed to match Borussia Dortmund’s valuation.
Now, the Reds could rub salt into the Old Trafford outfit’s wound, with it now being said that the 20-year-old could move to Anfield instead.
Sancho is undoubtedly one of the most promising talents in world football. Since making the move from Manchester City to Germany, he has 35 goals and 45 assists in just 102 matches in all competitions, and he has seen his Transfermarkt value rise to £105.3m.
Dortmund have made it clear they want €120m (£109m) for their star talent, and United have been reluctant to pay that for him, especially at the moment. Not signing him would be bad enough given the clear interest, but him potentially moving to their fiercest rivals would be a truly hammer blow.
Would Liverpool need him? On paper, no, especially as Mohamed Salah, with five goals already this term, continues to treat the Premier League as his playground. However, Sancho is a generational talent – if the chance to sign him arises, it is an opportunity they could surely not miss out on, especially given the potential for him to succeed Salah a few years down the line.
