da bet esporte: Everton are entering an exciting new age under the guise of a new board member, Farhad Moshiri, and new manager in Ronald Koeman. Things at Goodison Park are due for somewhat of a shake-up this summer after a disappointing campaign last season.
da aposte e ganhe: One of the first priorities for Koeman will be transfers, as he works out who needs to go and who he should bring in to progress.
Should The Toffees’ new boss fail in keeping hold of players such as Ross Barkley, replacements will be topping Koeman’s wish-list. Even if Barkley decides to stay, Koeman is a manager who like competition in his squad, and after a somewhat sub-standard season from the English playmaker, Everton may well be in the market for another in his role.
Where better to look than Newcastle and Georginio Wijnaldum? The Dutchman will be looking for a route back to the Premier League after Rafa Benitez failed to keep his side in the top flight and Everton could be the perfect place. Here are FIVE reasons why Wijnaldum would be a great addition the Everton squad…
PRICE TAG
Quite possibly the most important element of any transfer for a club, the money. With Newcastle now preparing for a season in the Championship, with a squad far to expensive for their level, the Toon will, albeit reluctantly, looking to shift some of their biggest players.
This desire to sell means that the prices will be at an all time low. According to Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old is valued at £15m, but after impressing last season, and considering many of the clubs chasing will be from the Premier League it could be somewhat more than this. Whatever happens, this is an opportunity that may just be too good to miss for Everton.
TIRED MIDFIELD
Once again, considering the fact the Barkley could be on his way out of Goodison Park, Everton’s midfield really needs shaking up.
Everton are decent in the middle third, but possess little to turn any heads, and that is something which needs looking at. Koeman likes to play a solid, yet exciting brand of football with a fluid front four. In his time at St, James’ Park, Wijnaldum has shown his desire to pick up the ball and get it moving out wide or into a forward option, quickly and effectively, something Everton fans will find refreshing.
EYE FOR GOAL
A good asset of any attacking midfielder, of course, but something that Everton have been somewhat lacking in recent years.
In Everton’s squad only Lukaku, with 18, managed more Premier League goals than Wijnaldum’s 11 for Newcastle last season, and should Lukaku start looking elsewhere for employment, goalscoring midfielders are something Koeman will need, as he will do very well to find someone near the calibre of Lukaku as a replacement.
As well as having an eye for goal Wijnaldum also looks to create for his attacking counterparts. The Dutchman created 48 chances last season and chipped in with five assists, a number which could well increase with a better front line to provide for than at Newcastle.

EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE
As with Southampton, European competitions is no doubt the target for Koeman and his technical staff at Goodison Park, and to succeed once there you need players who know what they are doing.
Wijnaldum is no stranger to the Europa League having played in the competition across a number of seasons with his former club, PSV Eindhoven. This sort of experience will be invaluable to Koeman in a squad of players of which many have no experience outside of domestic football.

AGE
At Newcastle, when they played well it was more often than not down to Wijnaldum’s ability to dictate a game and pull the strings from the midfield, cliches but vital tools for a player in his role nonetheless.
At times the 25-year-old showed leadership, composure and drive of a player well beyond his years and if Koeman can get Dutch international performing like that on a weekly basis, they will have a superb play-maker and a key asset in the side at Goodison park for years to come.
