da betsson: Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has strongly hinted that he has become unsettled by a lack of game-time, leading to speculation that he could be on his way in January – Newcastle should swoop for the Spaniard to solve their left-back crisis.
What’s the word?
da marjack bet: Well, Moreno has told Spanish media outlet Cadena Ser that he is annoyed by Jurgen Klopp’s treatment of him since returning from an injury – he has been afforded opportunities few and far between, with the German preferring utility man James Milner at left-back.
The 26-year-old’s situation is a rare example of discomfort at Anfield – most of the Reds players seem indefinitely happy to be playing when possible and hearing that one of them is displeased with their circumstances is, admittedly, a surprise, with media darling Klopp seen as one of the best man-managers in the league.
Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle, battered and bruised from a 4-0 hammering at the hands of none other than Liverpool, are clearly in desperate need of a left-back and a swoop for Moreno could be a cost-effective solution.
A fresh start
The former Sevilla man has made just four appearances this season ahead of the Arsenal clash and, as Klopp’s title charge continues, the frequency of starts will surely be reduced even further as the former Dortmund boss becomes more ruthless in his selection.
In desperate need of a fresh start, Benitez could be the man to offer the speedster just that as he looks to plug an increasingly leaky and error-prone Magpies defence – Paul Dummet has been a liability at left-back so far this season and a replacement for the Welshman is needed urgently.
With his contract set to expire in the summer, Moreno could be available for a chump change – a premise for any signings when you have Mike Ashley as your club owner – and could also be a good alternative for Kenedy should the Brazilian continue to become frustrated at his deployment as a wing-back.
